Rachel Izzo, known to her friends as Rizzo, is one of our certified RNs who is from Seattle, Washington. Rachel went to NYU in New York City where she got her nursing degree. She has been an RN for more than 7.5 years working primarily in the emergency department prior to becoming a travel nurse in a time of need. She recently became the sole vascular access nurse at a local hospital where she spends her days putting IVs in patients.

When she is not working, Rizzo likes being active in crossfit and olympic weight lifting, hiking, mountaineering, and traveling and exploring new places. She also enjoys spending time cuddling her cats Ric and Randy. Rizzo joined the Sugar & Salt IV Hydration team because she loves placing IVs and hopes to work with people who are proactive about their health and want health maintenance versus intervention.
